Why should I support my community paper?
A healthy local news environment depends on both advertiser and reader support. Contributing to support local journalism helps fund a professional staff of local journalists who focus on writing and sharing stories that matter most to our community. Our community would look much different without a local newspaper at its core. Our journalists keep you posted on all the latest news, but more than that, we support local non-profits, highlight hometown athletics and the arts and employ local people. Your support for us ensures continued support for all the community groups and teams that depend on us.
Don’t advertisers pay so I can access your content for free?
While community newspapers and our websites have more readers than ever, the effect of COVID-19 on local businesses has had a significant impact on their ability to support your readership. As an essential service, we want to ensure you have the information you need, but we need your support to do that and we hope that you believe that a strong local press will have a positive effect on our community and it’s citizens.
What will my contribution go towards?
100% of your pledge goes directly towards local journalists reporting local stories.
How am I billed for my contribution?
